A Wee Bit O’ Green

Irish SparkleballI made my green sparkleball for St Patrick’s Day, but must say I’ve enjoyed just having something green in the yard.  We live in southern California, and what little green we have these days is dusty and gray.  Now when we drive up at  night,  the deep green of the sparkleball reminds me of faraway Irish meadows and big old trees tiered in  boughs of endless greenery.   A bit o’ sparkleball leprechaun magic :)

What’s Hanging Now – March

My first real St Patrick’s Day was a long time ago in Cambridge MA. Everything was green including the beer and french fries, and for one day everyone was Irish.  That memory made me want a green  sparkleball this year.  I just so happened to have green lights I bought on sale after Christmas, but you can find them easily on Amazon or from dozens of online holiday light sources. Just google “green minilights.” Make the Original Sparkleball, add the green lights, and you’ll make the leprechauns happy ♣
