What’s Hanging Now – March

My first real St Patrick’s Day was a long time ago in Cambridge MA. Everything was green including the beer and french fries, and for one day everyone was Irish.  That memory made me want a green  sparkleball this year.  I just so happened to have green lights I bought on sale after Christmas, but you can find them easily on Amazon or from dozens of online holiday light sources. Just google “green minilights.” Make the Original Sparkleball, add the green lights, and you’ll make the leprechauns happy ♣

  1. Incandescent green mini lights are easy to find after the Christmas season. But not green LED mini lights.
I find them on line, but very rarely on sale. Because I use two 100 light strings in each hard cup Sparkleball (225 or 250 in the Chinet cup ball) it makes them expensive. Walmart had 225 string lights cheaper than anyone, but the quality was abysmal. Any color that has blue in it burned out very quickly. So far, the red and green seem to be lasting.
